Finally, I'm going to talk about Otojiro played by my favorite Koutaro Satomi.
Speaking of "Ōedo Sōsamō" in me, it is Mr. Otojiro.
The real name of Otojiro is Hayato Denhoji. I really like that style and would like to introduce it.

Otojiro is usually active as a Shinnai Nagashi and a town raver, and is called "Oto-san" by his colleagues. When confronting evil, it is mainly one-sword style, but in reality it is a two-sword style.
Shinnai Nagashi is a person who plays the sound of the shamisen while walking on the streets such as Yukaku in search of customers.
Although I haven't actually witnessed it in the play, it seems that there was a time when a sword was put in a part of the shamisen used by Otojiro. You can check it for a moment in the opening video.

As for the "structure that hides the sword," there was a scene in which the dagger was hidden in the Sword handle of Mondo Nakamura, played by Makoto Fujita, in the Hissatsu series. I remember feeling that it was a very novel katana structure.

Otojiro may appear to have a washcloth over his head.
I think this is "Yoshiwara kamuri(kaburi)", which is often seen in Yukaku entertainers.
It is a way of wearing that ties the end of the towel to the chonmage of the head and fixes it.
In addition, "Hana kake" is often seen when a thief disguises, and "Fuki Nagashi" is often seen in women.
This Otojiro's "Yoshiwara Kamuri(kaburi)" is really stylish, and the standing figure is dignified, so I fell in love at first sight.
